About..

Hello all.. thanks for taking the time to visit this site. My name is Deirdre Dillon-Malone.

I live in the north west of Ireland with my husband, Stephen, and our son, Emmett, who is two. Stephen and I both work in IT. I am a graduate of Computer Applications from Dublin City University.

I've been taking photos for a year or so now, still very much at an amateur level. Most of my photographs are of family and the beautiful scenery found right on my doorstep. I'm always striving for improvement, so any advice or constructive criticism would be more than welcomed!

I've added a photography blog for day to day updates.. I'll post any experimental or different shots in there, along with the methods and camera settings behind them. I'll also post links to the works and tutorials provided by others which provide me with inspiration.
